Valuing CME/CPD
The 18th Annual European CME Forum will take place 5–7 November 2025 at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester, UK.
Registration and the Call for abstracts for poster presentations are open (the call for proposals for workshops is now closed). Keep an eye on this page for general updates. The full programme can be seen here.
Hotel details have been updated on the Register page - don't delay in booking your room, some hotels have a limited allocation and the conference rates will expire in early October.
The meeting structure will be similar to 17ECF; we will start at 9.00am on the Wednesday morning, with the Core Competencies in CME/CPD sessions, then move on to a series of plenary sessions, oral presentations, workshops and breakouts to cover the key topics around European and global CME-CPD. The meeting will finish lunchtime on the Friday.
The theme this year is "Valuing CME/CPD" which we will explore from a number of angles with a special focus on our "learners". The overall aim of the meeting is to review the current status of CME/CPD and provide practical guidance and education on developments, best practices and emerging themes, to help us reflect on and improve CME/CPD practices among education providers from medical societies, professional education providers, regulators, CME accreditors and supporting pharma companies.
In addition to the usual updates in best practices in educational design, AI, accreditation, pharma funding, CME around the world, and incorporating the patient voice, we have three new topics for this year's meeting:
- The voice of the learner
- Using physician performance and patient outcomes data in CME/CPD in Europe
- UK and European compliance challenges
Make sure to be signed up to receive notification emails, and to have deeper access into this website that provides you with the largest resource about CME in Europe.
We look forward to seeing you in Manchester!
